The Black Action Society hosted a Pre-Kwanzaa Celebration Dec. 5 in the Smith Student Center Ballroom. The event included education about the seven principles of Kwanzaa, while embracing African culture and heritage through food and entertainment. Kwanzaa is celebrated Dec. 26 through Jan. 1.
