SRU’s online master’s in history ranked among the nation’s best

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — Slippery Rock University's online master's degree in history has been ranked among the country's best online master's in history degree programs by mastersprogramsguide.com.

To determine rankings, the website prioritized four key factors:

• Earnings potential, 40%, based on information from Payscale.
• Program affordability, 30%, based on taking the average cost to a student during the course of the degree program, with financial aid availability and fees factored in, based on data from the National Center for Education Statistics.
• Student satisfaction, 20%, based on institutional reviews from current and former students through Rate My Professor, Payscale and Students Review.
• Selectivity, 10%, based on an institution's acceptance rate using date from the NCES.
