Slippery Rock University's Martha Gault Art Gallery and the Art Department hosted an opening reception Nov. 26 for a trio of senior project BFA exhibitions: "extirpated" by Christina Malak, a senior art major from New Kensington; "inner • personal" by Lindsey Pauline, a senior art major from Ridgway; and "way" by Chloe Matrascia, a senior art major from Jefferson Hills. Malak's pieces feature endangered wildlife of western Pennsylvania; Pauline's works feature a collection of earthenware decorated with gold leaf; while Matrascia's works consist of paper sculptures and charcoal drawings. The exhibition runs through Dec. 6. The Martha Gault Art Gallery is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Maltby Center.
