SRU has six degree programs ranked by Intelligent.com

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — Intelligent.com recognized six degree programs at Slippery Rock University among its 2020 Best Online Degree Programs, a ranking of the top online degree programs in the United States.

SRU's RN to BSN, history, master's in history, master's in data science, master's in special education and master's in criminal justice degree programs were selected among Intelligent.com's assessment of more than 1,600 accredited colleges and universities in the nation. Each institution's program was evaluated on curriculum quality, graduation rate, reputation and the post-graduate employment. The 2020 rankings were calculated using a scoring system that measured student engagement, potential return on investment and other third-party evaluations.

SRU was ranked third in both the Best Master's in Data Science Degree Programs and Best Master's in History Degree Programs categories, which included unique distinction within those categories as "Best State University" and "Good Value," respectively. Other unique distinctions included RN to BSN, ranked 20th, as "Long-Running Program;" history, ranked 18th, as "Best for Small Class Sizes;" master's in special education, ranked 22nd, as "Low Tuition;" and master's in criminal justice, ranked eighth, as "Best State University."
