Slippery Rock University hosted its annual Veterans Day ceremony, Nov. 11, at the Russell Wright Alumni House. The day's events included a breakfast for military veterans and their families, and a ceremony with Col. Michael Brobeck, '86, as the keynote speaker; members of the SRU Army ROTC raising the colors, laying a wreath and firing a 21-gun salute; the SRU Chamber Singers Quartet singing the national anthem and "God Bless America;" and SRU student Jacob Pallo playing "Taps."
