SRU ranks sixth on BestColleges’ 2021 list of top online colleges in Pennsylvania

BestColleges, an online resource that publishes college rankings lists and guides for prospective online students, ranked Slippery Rock University sixth on its list of 2021 Best Online Colleges in Pennsylvania.

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — Slippery Rock University ranked sixth on BestColleges.com's list of 2021 Best Online Colleges in Pennsylvania. BestColleges is an online resource that publishes college rankings lists and guides for prospective online students.

SRU was the only school from Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education to make the top 10. The rankings are based on statistical data and input from BestColleges' evaluators who considered academic quality, affordability and online competency. The 2021 rankings reflect the most recent data available from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System and College Navigator, both of which are hosted by the National Center for Education Statistics.

SRU offers seven online undergraduate degree completion programs in accounting, health care administration and management, management, leadership studies, nursing, philanthropy and nonprofit management, and liberal arts. SRU also offers three graduate certificate programs, 17 online master's programs and two doctoral programs. Online undergraduate tuition costs $322 per credit for in-state students and $328 per credit for out-of-state students.
