SRU online programs recognized in 2023-24 EduMed rankings
SRU’s RN to BSN, ABA certificate and master of health information management programs made EduMed’s rankings.

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — Three academic programs at Slippery Rock University were recognized on EduMed's 2023-24 rankings. EduMed is a resource supporting students' pursuits of an online or hybrid education in the allied health, nursing and medical fields.
SRU appeared on the following lists:
- "Best Online RN to BSN Bridge Programs in Pennsylvania," (No. 10).
- "Best Online ABA Grad Certificate Programs" (No. 13).
- "Best Online Health Information Management Degrees" (No. 36).
SRU's RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing program was one of the first nursing programs in the country to offer classes completely online. It is designed to meet the needs of registered nurses looking to build on their associate degree or diploma education and earn their BSN.
SRU's Special Education Department offers a certificate in applied behavior analysis that is completed entirely online. The course sequence of the program aligns with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board that meets eligibility requirements to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst exam.
SRU's Master of Science in health information management program is also offered 100% online. The 30-credit curriculum can be completed in 1-2 years and is designed for professionals in the health care and/or computer information systems fields.
