Slippery Rock University's 2018 Homecoming and Reunion Weekend featured a bevy of events and activities to keep Rock Nation - past, present and even future - occupied during the Oct. 12-14 weekend. In addition to the time-honored tradition of the parade down Main Street and the SRU's football dominating 59-28 victory over Edinboro, the weekend featured the return of the "Rock the Block" Tailgate Festival. The event served to help fill the downtime between the parade and kickoff, and was geared toward getting the crowd primed for game time with carnival games, food, prizes and giveaways and an outdoor stage featuring live music from "Radio Tokyo," an '80s, '90s and 2000s cover band.
