Slippery Rock University students from a Fiber Arts class, taught by Barbara Westman, professor of art, created 16 outdoor banners that are being displayed around campus as part of an experiential digital global engagement project titled "Global Cultures: Sri Lanka." The students worked remotely with a group of students from Peradeniya University in Sri Lanka, to come up with designs that depict Sri Lankan culture, history, art, nature and daily life.
