More than 1,500 first-year and transfer students moved into Slippery Rock University residence halls, Aug. 18, kicking off the University's annual Week of Welcome. Hundreds of volunteers from the SRU community assisted with Move-In Day. Returning students will move in Aug. 21 and the first day of classes for the fall semester is Aug. 22.
