Dozens of children, ages 5 to 18, with blindness or other visual impairments, are taking part in the ENVISION Blind Sports Summer Camp, July 14-19, at Slippery Rock University. Sponsored by SRU's adapted physical activity program, the camp offers a variety of sports that have been specially adapted for attendees, including: basketball, soccer, rock climbing, swimming, judo, wrestling, horseback riding and ice hockey. ENVISION Blind Sports is an organization that supports people who are blind or visually impaired by providing services and education to ensure they are getting ample opportunities to be physically active.
