Forty-nine students from the Slippery Rock University Doctor of Physical Therapy program received their white coats at a ceremony, July 16, at the Smith Student Center Ballroom. This occasion marked the completion of students' on-campus work before they begin their full-time clinical rotations in the fall, for which they will wear long white lab coats that are worn by doctors, physicians and other health care professionals who work with real patients. The white coat also indicates to patients a commitment to providing the best possible care.
