SRU’s RN to BSN program ranked for affordability by TopRNtoBSN.com

Slippery Rock University’s online Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing program was ranked by TopRNtoBSN.com on its 2021 list of the Top 25 Most Affordable Online RN to BSN Programs.

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. —Slippery Rock University's online Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing program continues to make national rankings, this time for its affordability as determined by a website with a self-descriptive name. TopRNtoBSN.com has ranked SRU on its 2021 list of the Top 25 Most Affordable Online RN to BSN Programs.

The editors of TopRNtoBSN.com based their rankings on the cost of tuition, the school's reputation and the program offerings, while also using data from the College Scorecard, the College Navigator and the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System.

SRU's RN to BSN program was one of the first nursing programs in the country to offer classes completely online, designed to meet the needs of registered nurses looking to build on their associate degree or diploma education and earn their BSN.

The majority of the students in the RN to BSN program are working in the field and complete their degrees at their preferred pace through eight-week sessions each semester.

SRU's nursing program offers classes taught by faculty with doctoral degrees and a curriculum focused on skills, such as teambuilding and communication, that are sought after by potential employers. The RN to BSN program is accredited by the Commission for Collegiate Nursing Education.
