SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — Slippery Rock University's online master's degree in data analytics has been ranked as one of the top 25 best data analytics degree programs in the country by TechGuide for 2024.

The rankings were compiled by TechGuide, an independent online resource for technology related information. TechGuide based its rankings on data collected by the Integrated Post-Secondary Education Data System and the College Navigator, which consider factors like cost, reputation and salary earnings post-graduation.

Ranked No. 22, SRU is one of three Pennsylvania schools to make the ranking and the only university in Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education school to appear on the list.

SRU's program prepares students to use data analysis methods in numerous career fields. Graduates of the program receive both a Master of Science from SRU and a professional certificate from the SAS Institute for Advanced Analytics.

The SAS is a software platform most widely used in performing data analytics and statics analysis. The program prepares graduates to take the Certified Analytics Professional exam administered by the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences.

The 33-credit hour program can be completed in 10 months full-time or two years part-time and is offered fully online.
