Slippery Rock University's Martha Gault Art Gallery hosted an opening reception April 29 for the exhibits "Seeing Faces in Empty Spaces," by Amanda Lyon, a senior from Ambridge and "Unapologetically Loud," by Chelsey Werner, a senior from Slippery Rock. The exhibits, on display through May 2, are sponsored by the SRU Art Department, the College of Liberal Arts and the Slippery Rock Student Government Association. Both are art of the gallery's Spring 2019 BFA exhibitions showcase. The gallery is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Thursday.
