SRU’s online master’s degree in English earns national ranking

Slippery Rock University was recognized by Online Schools Report on its Best Online Master’s in English list.

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — Online Schools Report has recognized Slippery Rock University on its Best Online Master's in English list. OSR ranked 20 schools from across the country with SRU coming in at No. 15.

OSR used six data points, three school-wide and three program-specific, to compile its rankings, including: student satisfaction, admission rates, median debt of graduates from the program, median debt of graduates from the program, number of degrees offered with the program's department and percentage of students at the school that graduated from the department.

SRU's Master of Arts in English program is a 30-credit, 15-month program that focuses on contemporary literary practices to prepare students to teach and understand reading and writing techniques.

The OSR website "aims to provide students with simple, practical, and accurate information about every online program available."
