Slippery Rock University hosted a "Carnival on the Quad" April 17 as part of SRU's month-long Earth Days program. The event included games, prizes and educational activities, including solar-powered spin-art where participants can make their own paintings on a Frisbee. The carnival was used as a vehicle to promote sustainability education and personal accountability.
