Slippery Rock University presented its signature student-faculty scholarly event April 12 when 170 students put their research, art exhibits and live performances on display at the annual "Symposium for Student Research, Scholarship and Creative Achievement" in the Smith Student Center. This year's presenters helped push the four-year participant total to more than 660 since the 2015. The symposium included presentations in science, business, education, communication, computer science, the arts, history, exercise science, contemporary culture and more in taking the forms of oral and poster presentations, live performances and exhibits.
