The Slippery Rock University Opera Ensemble is hosting "Opera Reimagined," March 24, at the Swope Music Hall. The performance infuses traditional opera with modern elements, with scenes ranging from those set in the early 1990s to a dystopian future. The SRU Opera is directed by Timothi Williams, instructor of music, who is the artistic director of the Opera Reimagined project. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for students and they can be purchased at sru.edu/tickets.
