The Mirrorball Trophy wasn't presented, but Slippery Rock University students and professors did their best to replicate "Dancing with the Stars" with "Dancing with the SRU Stars," March 23 at Stoner West Dance Studio Theater. The annual dance competition, hosted the National Honors Society for Dance Arts' SRU chapter, featured five SRU "star" professors dancing with SRU dance majors. The first-place tandem was Patrick McGinty, instructor of English, with Gabby Pfeifer, a junior dance major from Stevensville, Maryland, and received a $500 scholarship.
