You know what they say: "The grass is always greener on the other side of the ... pond?" After their first full day experiencing Dublin, Ireland, members of the Slippery Rock University marching band, the Marching Pride, have a deeper understanding of the old adage. The morning of March 16 saw the group start its Irish history lesson at Trinity College with the Book of Kells and a stroll down the halls of the Long Room, famous for its "role" in the library scenes of the "Harry Potter" movies. The Pride then traveled to St. Patrick's Cathedral to soak in the spirit of the upcoming holiday. The afternoon saw the band set loose in Dublin to shop, eat and be merry.
