SRU’s online master’s in history ranked one of the country’s best

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Slippery Rock University's online master's degree in history has been ranked as one of the top 25 programs in the country by TheBestSchools.org for 2018.

TheBestSchools.org is an online resource for college students "to gain the knowledge, skills and credentials needed to achieve personal happiness and career success."

The rankings were compiled by the website's academic advisory board and staff in conjunction with the National Association for College Admission Counselors and the American Council on Education.

SRU, ranked No. 9, was the only institution from Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education to earn a spot on the list.

The online master's degree in history at SRU is a fully online, 30-credit program designed to provide advanced study of U.S., European and world history. The program provides students with the flexibility to work on an advanced degree while pursuing a career in such diverse fields as education, law, government, military, industry and private and public business sectors.
