The Martha Gault Art Gallery hosted a March 3 opening reception for “Printmakers in Poland,” an exhibition presented by Barbara Westman, associate professor of art. The exhibition includes prints created by graduate students from the University of Fine Arts in Poznań, Poland and feature works created using the intaglio printmaking techniques. Also on exhibit is Westman’s “Printmaking Sketchbook, Intercollegiate Collaboration” that showcases 14 small format sketchbooks that were created in late 2019 and early 2020, by students from nearly one dozen participating universities. Both exhibitions will be on display through March 26. The Martha Gault Art Gallery is located at 108 Maltby Ave., Suite 102, Maltby Building, Slippery Rock University, 16057 and is accessible. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Photos by Vanessa Glenn, a senior digital media production major from Erie.
