Slippery Rock University's Flute Studio Ensemble hosted its annual Honors Flute Ensemble, Feb. 25-26, in the Swope Music Hall. More than 20 local middle school and high school students participated side by side with SRU Flute Studio members during classes, rehearsals and a culminating concert. The final performance also included world premieres by professional musicians Clint Bleil, '16, Gay Kahkonen, and Gareth McLearnon.
