“X” MARKS THE END IT MOVEMENT

Students from the Slippery Rock University Department of Communication gathered Feb. 22 to recognize the End It Movement's annual Shine a Light on Slavery Day. The End It Movement is a coalition of organizations that combat human trafficking and child exploitation, including The Asservo Project, whose director of communications, Christen Cappatt, attended the event. Cappatt, a 2014 SRU graduate with a degree in communication, and participants placed a red "X" on their hands and posted images online with the hashtag #enditmovement to raise awareness for anti-trafficking and anti-slavery efforts.
