Slippery Rock University's recreational therapy program and the Recreational Therapy Club at SRU hosted "Adaptive Sports Day" at the Aebersold Student Recreation Center Feb. 16. The event was staged in recognition of Recreational Therapy Month. The event offered opportunities for attendees to take part in a variety of adaptive activities such as: boccia, an adaptation of bocce, wheelchair tennis, curling, hockey and adaptive aquatic exercises.
