In celebration of Black History Month, the Martha Gault Art Gallery is featuring "A Sin of Omission," an exhibition by Pierre Bowins, Slippery Rock University assistant professor of art. The exhibition presents the African American diaspora missing in the history of graphic design, providing enlightenment regarding those designers who have contributed to the field of graphic design yet have been omitted from its history. The exhibition runs through Feb. 27. The Martha Gault Art Gallery is located at 108 Maltby Ave., Suite 102, Maltby Building, Slippery Rock University, 16057 and is accessible. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Photographs by Vanessa Glenn, a senior digital media production major from Erie.
