The University Program Board at Slippery Rock University hosted a "Home Away From Home" event, Jan. 30, in the Smith Student Center Ballroom. Students were welcomed to feel more "at home" as they transition to being back on campus after spending the semester break at home. External vendors, student organizations and other campus groups provided giveaways that included custom street signs, fleece travel pillows and gel art. There were also canine visitors, virtual-reality massage chairs and comfort food including pierogies and macaroni and cheese.
