The winter storm named "Izzy" dumped a foot of snow on Slippery Rock University's campus Jan. 17, canceling in-person classes on Jan. 18, the first day of the spring 2022 semester. SRU's grounds crews were busy Tuesday removing snow from the campus' five miles of two-lane roadways, 13 miles of sidewalks, 40 acres of parking lots and 1,135 steps.
