SRU’s online bachelor programs ranked among nation’s best by U.S. News & World Report
Slippery Rock University was recognized for its online bachelor degree programs on the U.S. News & World Report’s 2019 Best Online Programs rankings.

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - U.S. News & World Report has recognized Slippery Rock University on its list of 2019 Best Online Programs, ranking SRU among the top schools in the nation for its online bachelor degree programs.
SRU offers five online bachelor's degree programs: a bachelor of science in interdisciplinary programs, a bachelor of science in business administration in management, a bachelor of science in leadership studies, a bachelor of science in nursing and a bachelor of science in philanthropy and nonprofit management.
"We emphasize offering high-quality academic programs that have the flexibility of online learning," said William Behre, SRU president. "It's satisfying to have these online programs earn national recognition, which further validates the hard work of our faculty, staff and administrators who deliver the best education to our students."
U.S. News & World Report assessed more than 1,500 online program, evaluating several factors - including graduation rates, faculty credentials and support services available remotely - to rank the best online bachelor's degree programs.
