To make your education more affordable, SRU offers all new undergraduate international students non-need based financial aid award valued at approximately $3,500 deducted from the full out-of-state tuition rate. Combined with a new $1,500 scholarship and a B average over 4 years (i.e., minimum 3.0 GPA) you could save $20,000.00!
It even gets better. After spring/summer if you have a cumulative 3.5 GPA or higher you could receive an additional $500.00 scholarship!
Provost Scholarship for Global Diversity & Academic Achievement
Valued at $1,500 (applied to fall & spring terms only)
- Initial scholarship is awarded upon admission (No additional application required to receive award).
- To retain scholarship you must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher (subject to annual review spring/summer terms).
- Must be an international student enrolled full-time. Exceptions can be made for students in last term who are enrolled less than full-time BUT must be registered for graduation.

Presidential Award for Academic Excellence
Valued at $500 (applied to fall & spring terms only)
- Award is granted after an international student has completed either their first year or first semester (spring only) at SRU.
- Must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher to receive award.
- Must be an international student enrolled full-time. Exceptions can be made for students in last term who are enrolled less than full-time BUT must be registered for graduation.

Title IV Funds
International students are not eligible for Title IV funds.
