The Exercise Science program at SRU has established an articulation with Logan University College of Chiropractic to offer you the best mix of classroom education and practical experience. If you are interested in a career in chiropractic medicine, this mix of experiential learning and hands-on experience will prepare you well.

Why Major in EXERCISE SCIENCE: PRE-CHIROPRACTIC?

SRU Exercise Science is recognized as one of the best accredited undergraduate programs in the country. As an Exercise Science student at SRU, you will receive a strong science base including anatomy, exercise physiology, and pathophysiology. You will understand the psychology of motivation and how you can help your future patients reach their health-related goals. Most importantly you will apply that knowledge through practical experiences working with real people.

HOW DOES THIS WORK?

Earn a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) in six years rather than seven. In the first three years, you complete your major courses and pre-requisites for the Logan University DC graduate program. All students who successfully complete the Pre-Chiropractic program with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and meet all other criteria for admission will be accepted and transfer to Logan’s DC program. On completion of your first year and minimally 30 credits, you will receive your bachelor’s degree from SRU. You will then continue at Logan to complete the requirements for the DC degree. The accelerated option is for incoming freshmen only. Once you completed your Doctor of Chiropractic, you will be ready to start your career in the Chiropractic profession.

Upon completion of the Exercise Science undergraduate program and the Logan University DC graduate program, you will be well prepared to embark on your career as a Chiropractor.
