The curriculum, prepares students for careers in sport event management, intercollegiate athletic departments, minor league sport, sport marketing, sport facility management and other areas of the expanding sport business and sport entertainment industries. The innovative curriculum involves a myriad of practical experiences and stresses experiential learning, critical thinking and application of knowledge. The program has been in existence since 1977 and enjoys a nationwide reputation as one of the best undergraduate programs in the nation.
We were accorded the honor of being the first program in the nation to be accredited by the Commission on Sport Management Accreditation (COSMA).
