The club's goals are to facilitate resources to students to advance their technical and professional skills in area of cybersecurity. The club organizes collaborative research and interdisciplinary academic meetings and events each month with emphasize on discussions, talks and hands-on training focused on addressing cybersecurity concerns spanning diverse concepts, related to: network administration, cryptography, software assurance, secure coding, security tools, security analysis, project management, incident response, scripting, post-mortem deep forensics, ethical reasoning, malware analysis, data analytics, advanced system architectures, parallel and distributed computing and more. Moreover, the club also organizes various competitions to aid students apply cybersecurity concepts, both offensive and defensive among other universities across the nation.
Activities include:
- Security workshops
- Monthly group discussion of current cybersecurity events (ie. hacks, security threats)
- Cyberspace event
- Internship opportunity discussions
