Abdullah Wahbeh, a Slippery Rock University assistant professor of computer science, co-authored an article that was published in Health and Technology, a cross-disciplinary journal about issues related to health technologies and connecting medical technology and informatics with the needs of health care professionals and patients.

Wahbeh's paper, titled "A close look at socio-technical design features of mobile applications for diabetes self-management," analyzed mobile apps for self-management of diabetes to understand the strengths and shortcomings related to the interaction between users and the technology and how the apps can be improved.
