Shah Limon, a Slippery Rock University assistant professor of physics and engineering, recently
co-authored two research papers that were published in academic journals.

Limon’s paper titled, “Remaining Useful Life Prediction Using the Similarity-based Integrations
of Multi-Sensors Data,” was published in the Quality Engineering Journal. The paper was about
the use of an artificial intelligence-based framework of data fusion to improve equipment
maintenance. Limon also co-wrote an article titled “Factorial Design of Experiment Method to
Characterize Bioprinting Process Parameters to Obtain the Targeted Scaffold Porosity” that was
published in 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing. The article was about techniques for
regenerating patient-specific tissues and organs using 3D printers.
