Kuehn leads roundtable and helps organize Voices for Juvenile Justice conference

Sarah Kuehn, a Slippery Rock University associate professor of criminology and criminal justice, facilitated a roundtable discussion at the Voices for Juvenile Justice conference, Oct. 13, at Passport Academy in Pittsburgh. Kuehn led a discussion titled “De-escalation and Non-violent Conflict Resolution.”

Kuehn is a member of the planning committee for the V4JJ conference, which attracted more than 100 participants representing a diverse group of professionals working to empower youth, build community and create a more just and equitable juvenile justice system. Several SRU criminology and criminal justice students attended the event as well.
