Fuller authors book for teachers about cultural mismatch

Abigail Fuller, a 2004 Slippery Rock University graduate with degrees in elementary education and dance, recently authored a book titled “Overcoming Cultural Mismatch: Reaching and Teaching Diverse Children” that was published by Rowman & Littlefield. The book is about cultural mismatch between students and teachers and how a teacher’s own cultural lens informs their practice.

A resident of Naples, Florida, Fuller is an assistant professor of education at Ave Maria University and a former school administrator, special education specialist and teacher.
