SRU students attend Elevate Conference

Ten Slippery Rock University students attended the Elevate Conference hosted by Alpha Kappa Psi, Feb. 9-11, in Boston, Massachusetts. The Elevate Conference is an annual summit for Alpha Kappa Psi members to engage in networking events, workshops and professional development seminars.

The following SRU students received certificates for attending:

  • Brooke Reagle, a junior health administration major from Union City.
  • Alex Cancelliere, a junior computing major from Pittsburgh.
  • Ruth Bergquist, a senior management major from Pittsburgh.
  • Brooke Wolthers, a junior management major from New Castle.
  • Brendan King, a senior finance major from Pittsburgh.
  • Justin Doty, a junior safety management major from Vernon, Connecticut.
  • James Anderson, a junior accounting major from Pittsburgh.
  • Noah Suto, a junior management major from Parker.
  • Zane Kent, a sophomore management major from McKeesport.
  • Shane Treloar, a senior marketing major from Canonsburg.

Rhonda Clark, SRU associate professor of management and marketing, accompanied the students at the conference. Clark is the faculty adviser for the Alpha Kappa Psi, SRU chapter.

Alpha Kappa Psi is the nation’s oldest and largest business co-ed business fraternity with more than 250 active chapters and 14,000 collegiate members.
