Morton earns Barrell & Flow Fest scholarship for arts and business

Ericka Morton, a Slippery Rock University sophomore dance major from Pittsburgh, received a scholarship from Barrell & Flow Fest, a Pittsburgh-based festival which uses the brewing industry to support Black art, artists and the entire community.

Each year, Barrell & Flow Fest awards scholarships for those pursuing a post-secondary education in the arts. Morton was one of five recipients of a $1,000 Art + Biz scholarship that will support her goal of opening her own dance studio and specializing in the Black dance tradition.
