Slippery Rock University's "Children's Day/Earth Day Celebration" took place April 23 at SRU's Robert A. Macoskey Center for Sustainable Systems Education and Research. The event was part of SRU's 15th Annual Kaleidoscope Arts Festival and included a full day of arts and crafts, games, musical and theatrical performances and earth friendly demonstrations. As part of the Earth Day component, children were able to make a spin-art Frisbee that used eco-friendly flying discs.
