Native-American songs, dancing, drumming and craft making were all part of Slippery Rock University's annual Native American Celebration Day April 7 in the Smith Student Center Ballroom. The event, supported by SRU's College of Liberal Arts and College of Health, Environment and Science, welcomed storyteller Miguel Sague, a member of Taino nation; and Tony Duncan (Apache, Arikara and Hidatsa), a world-renown and champion hoop dancer and flute player.
