All degree seeking undergraduate international students (FRESHMAN/TRANSFER/POST-BACCALAUREATE) are required to verify sufficient funds for up to one full academic year for the issuance of the Form I-20 used to obtain the student visa for entry into the United States. In the application students must submit sponsor information OR indiciate that they intend to submit their own bank statement for financial verification. Once the application is submitted the sponsor(s) provided will receive an email with a link to the complete the appropriate SRU Financial Affidavit form.
Applicants will upload the completed affidavit along with acceptable bank documents in the application portal. Sponsors should reference the total estimated cost for attendance based on degree type below to complete either the SRU Financial Affidavit (2026/27) or SRU Financial Affidavit (2027/28)..
