Offered by: NursingThe online RN to BSN program at Slippery Rock University is designed to meet the needs of Registered Nurses who desire to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. In the program, students develop critical thinking skills for clinical decision-making, learn to collaborate in interprofessional teams, shift focus from care of individuals within a community to the health of a community, refine professional communication, and develop leadership skills.
The program is an asynchronous online program that allows students 24/7 access to course materials. Classes are primarily offered in 8-week sessions, providing flexibility in managing academic and work schedule demands--an ideal component for the working professional. Individual scheduling options also enable students to complete the program in as little as one year.*

SCHOLARSHIPS
The Department of Nursing at SRU offers a variety of scholarships to students enrolled in the RN to BSN program. Scholarships provide funding that does not have to be repaid, making the program even more affordable. Students are eligible to apply for scholarships even if receiving employer tuition reimbursement. Scholarship details and application requirements are provided to enrolled students every Spring semester.
TUITION DEFERMENT
Tuition deferment is available for those students receiving tuition reimbursement from their employers. Tuition payment can be deferred until coursework is completed and payment is provided by the employer.
