SRU’s Doctorate in Special Education prepares educators and human service agency workers for leadership positions in the field of Special Education.
Educational Leadership Ed. D
SRU’s Doctor in Educational Leadership and Administration will consist of 60 credits and will be delivered fully online. This program is designed to produce executive leaders that are capable of managing the growing complexities and demands that higher education institutions face today.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY (DOCTOR OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY)
The entry-level Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy curriculum is designed to be a challenging 36-month program for students who receive training in advanced clinical, professional, and leadership skills.
PHYSICAL THERAPY (DOCTOR OF PHYSICAL THERAPY)
The Doctor of Physical Therapy program at SRU prepares graduates for clinical practice in physical therapy through hands-on clinical experience.

ATHLETIC TRAINING (MASTER OF SCIENCE)
SRU’s Master of Science in Athletic Training is 57 credits of classroom courses and clinical experiences offered sequentially over four consecutive semesters and two summers to promote progressive, higher-order learning over time.
CLINICAL MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING (MASTER OF ARTS)
The MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at SRU prepares students to work as counselors in hospitals and community agencies.
DATA ANALYTICS (MASTER OF SCIENCE)
Slippery Rock University’s Master of Science in Data Analytics is 33 credits and consists of online coursework.
ELEMENTARY EDUCATION: K-12 READING (CERTIFICATION)
SRU’s Elementary Education K-12 Reading Certification program enables teachers to add the reading specialist certification to their certificates.
ELEMENTARY EDUCATION: K-12 READING SPECIALIST (MASTER OF EDUCATION AND PDE CERTIFICATION)
This program prepares educators to be reading specialists and literacy coaches in K-12 schools. Students completing this program are eligible for K-12 reading specialist certification, which can be added to their existing teaching certification
ELEMENTARY EDUCATION: K-12 READING SPECIALIST AND INSTRUCTIONAL COACHING: LITERACY ENDORSEMENT (MASTER OF EDUCATION, PDE CERTIFICATION, AND PDE ENDORSEMENT)
Through this program, educators are eligible for both the K-12 reading specialist certification and an instructional coaching endorsement (literacy emphasis) which can be added to their existing teaching certification.
