Offered by: Computer ScienceThe Computing Analytics concentration emphasizes the analytical skills that are increasingly required by organizations. Students will learn recent technological advances to capture data streams, apply analytics on generated data and create visualization of the data for corporate strategical planning. Graduates are prepared for careers in the data science field such as data analyst, data scientist, business analyst, data architect and data engineer.

The computing analytics concentration emphasizes on using Big Data and Data Mining techniques to discover knowledge and hidden patterns in large-scale data. Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning will be used for building predictive data analytics models. Data visualization tools will be used to visualize large amounts of complex data to make data-driven decisions. Faculty will work with any interested students on research projects.
